Previous to this he practised with a leading City firm in the 1970s, was an in-house counsel with leading investment banks in the 1980s and a banking partner in a City firm at the beginning of the 1990s, before setting up his own consultancy practice.
Gerald Montagu, solicitor, specialises in tax law; he publishes widely and is General Editor of Norfolk and Montagu on the Taxation of Interest and Debt Finance (also published by Bloomsbury Professional)
