As a barrister, George Warr specialised in immigration law and then was appointed as an adjudicator hearing immigration appeals. He was subsequently appointed an Upper Tribunal Judge and he has sat in the Tribunal in its various forms for 20 years. He was also appointed to sit on the Special Immigration Appeals Commission (SIAC). He now sits part time in the Upper Tribunal (IAC).
