George Pickering
George Pickering studied law at the Universities of Bristol and Würzburg and was awarded an LLM with Commendation for the dissertation that formed the basis of Trade Marks in Theory and Practice. He qualified as a solicitor in 1999 and has since practised largely in the life sciences sector both at law firms including Bird & Bird in London and Brussels and in-house. He is currently Assistant General Counsel, Pharma R&D and Global Franchises at GlaxoSmithKline plc.
