William Flenley QC is a barrister practising in the areas of professional negligence, insurance and contract law. He was appointed Queen's Counsel in 2010, and regularly appears in complex and high value cases in his areas of specialism. He is vice-chairman of the Professional Negligence Bar Association. He is co-author of Flenley & Leech, Solicitors' Negligence and Liability (3rd ed., 2012), and was also co-author of the first two editions, published in 1999 and 2008. He has contributed to Professional Negligence and Liability (looseleaf, sections on Saamco, causation and damages) and Cordery on Legal Services. He is also a board member of Thames Reach, which works to end street homelessness. He lives in London with his wife and two children.
