Lucy was admitted as a solicitor in 2014 and since then has acted as the sole solicitor to Hertfordshire Fire and Rescue Service with responsibility for enforcement activity. She provides early investigative advice to fire protection officers daily. She has conduct of all prosecutions brought by the fire authority, and of all appeals brought against orders it has made. Lucy is a member of the National Fire Lawyers Network of Lawyers in Local Government, which bring together in-house lawyers for fire and rescue services across the country.
