Biography

Elizabeth Graves is a Partner in Eversheds Sutherland's Human Resources Practice Group, having joined Eversheds from Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP. Elizabeth provides day-to-day employment advice and advice on complex employment matters (both contentious and non-contentious). She has particular expertise in complex restructuring, outsourcing and providing employment support on M&A transactions, both public and private. Her recent experience includes advising on industrial relations aspects of the Royal Mail IPO, defending an employer against multi-million pound TUPE litigation and advising a household name on cross-border restructuring across Europe. She regularly works cross-border for clients on both sides of the Atlantic, dealing on a daily basis with employment law issues in many non-UK countries. Many of Elizabeth’s clients are in the financial services and life sciences sector. She is skilled in handling employment issues in the context of regulatory investigations, whistle blowing and misuse of confidential information. She has also completed secondments to two global investment banks.
