Neeta Halai is a qualified solicitor in England and Wales who internationally coaches and trains lawyers and law students in legal and communication skills, using the psychology of human behaviour. The goal is simple; to help them achieve successful results in a prestigious legal profession that is extremely competitive.
Through her business New Heights Training, the context for her work is varied from helping people prepare for training contract and partnership interviews to helping lawyers improve their personal and professional development, through a range of coaching programmes and workshops. Neeta also trained the BPP Professional Education examiners and assessors for the Qualified Lawyers Transfer Test (now called the Qualified Lawyers Transfer Scheme (QLTS)). She created a bespoke judging criteria for all assessors to use to ensure consistency, when assessing candidates in the English language for the oral assessment (Principles of Common Law).
